This is such a solid book – it’s tear-jerking, it’s inspiring, it’s sexy and romantic, it’s interesting (sword history!) and it’s funny. I can’t wait for the next book in the series.
Any Rogue Will Do by Bethany Bennett is 99c! This is book one in the Misfits of Mayfair series and features a fake relationship. Book two was featured in an edition of Cover Awe. I’m actually pretty curious about this series, if anyone has read it and would like to share their thoughts.
Zora Books Her Happy Ever After by Taj McCoy is $2.99! Shana mentioned this on Hide Your Wallet and it was released this spring. This one seems like it might have a love triangle, but I’m not sure how involved that is with the plot. Have you read it?
RECOMMENDED: To Have and to Hoax by Martha Waters is $1.99! Aarya read this one and gave it a B:
Despite all these points, I adored To Have and to Hoax. It made me giggle constantly during a week when I had little to smile about. I wouldn’t recommend it to everyone; if the antics sound juvenile and infuriating, then you won’t like the story. But if you’re in the mood to escape into a Regency romp and swoon over a married couple falling in love again, I recommend To Have and to Hoax as your escape of choice.
RECOMMENDED: Payback’s a Witch by Lana Harper is $1.99! Ellen gave this one a B:
Overall, this book had many strong elements, with a few minor missteps. I think you pretty much get what you expect in terms of a relatively light, atmospheric, sexy sapphic romance perfect for spooky season. If there are additional series entries, I will absolutely be reading them.

Radio Silence by Alyssa Cole is $1.99! Carrie reviewed this book in April of 2015. Former reviewer, Redheadedgirl also said, “Based on a rec from Courtney Milan, this is set during an apocalyptic event with a we-all-need-to-work-together and try not to go nutty from the isolation plot – it’s tight, tense, and really good.”
RECOMMENDED: My Best Friend’s Exorcism by Grady Hendrix is $2.99! This is a great book for Halloween. Carrie reviewed this and gave it a B+:
This particular horror story is a love letter to the 1980s and to the power of friendship between women. The ending is very awesome. But also very gross, so be prepared.
To Steal a Heart by K.C. Bateman is 99c! This is the first in a new series by Bateman (who also writes historical romances under Kate Bateman). It looks like a lot of fun and I think I’m going to snag this one for 99c. What about you?
