Shrill by Lindy West is $2.99! This is a Kindle Daily Deal and is being price-matched. I also encourage you to check out the rest of today’s deals too. They’re all nonfiction and include Roxane Gay, a Kennedy bio, and more. The book does deal with Lindy’s experience with eating, rape culture, and internet trolls, so there’s some pretty heavy stuff. It has a 4.2-star rating on Goodreads.
Puddin’ by Julie Murphy is $1.99! Not sure if this is a Kindle Daily Deal. I didn’t see it on the list today, but I may have missed it. This is a companion novel to Dumplin’ though it’s not necessary to read that one to enjoy this one. Just be warned that the ending to Dumplin’ might get spoiled. I loved Dumplin’ and am excited to read this one. Murphy has a great way of writing really likable characters.

I highly recommend this book, especially if you love Dolly Parton. It’s funny and emotional, and the struggles Willowdean faces as a “self-proclaimed fat girl” will relate to many who suffered from those awkward teen years. Seriously, get this book.
