Project Duchess by Sabrina Jeffries is still on sale for 99c! This historical romance is the first book in the Duke Dynasty series. I also made a cocktail for this one! Jeffries books are hit or miss for me. What do you think?
A Heart of Blood and Ashes by Milla Vane is $1.99! Romancelandia went nuts for this fantasy romance, though I will warn the environment and world is pretty bleak at times. We also had a great guest review for this one by Crystal Anne with an E. What do you think of the series?

If you read and loved Code Name Verity this is a book for you. I said a couple of years ago that I expected a lot of World War I stories to come out of this centennial, and I’m pretty pleased to have been right. There are a lot of really interesting stories emerging. I’m also really interested (for various reasons) in how people deal with the PTSD that come out of traumatic periods in history, and this story is a deeply layered exploration of just that.
Too Hard to Forget by Tessa Bailey is $2.99! This is the third book in the Romancing the Clarksons series, but it can be read on its own. There’s a forbidden relationship element that some people weren’t sold on, though many readers said the hero does an amaaaaazing grovel. It has 4-star rating on Goodreads.
