An Inconvenient Duke by Anna Harrington is $2.99! This is book one in the Lords of the Armory series. This historical romance features the “off-limits sibling of a friend” trope. If that’s your particular catnip, maybe pick this one up.
The English Wife by Lauren Willig is $2.99! This is historical fiction with a mystery element, and I love this cover. Some readers found the plot a bit hard to follow. However, others love the dialogue and layers to story. Have you read this one?

Going Dark by Monica McCarty is $1.99! This is McCarty’s first book in her romantic suspense series, The Lost Platoon. I originally picked up this book because of the heroine; she’s a marine ecologist. However, I wasn’t too thrilled with our first intro to the hero and his fellow SEALs.
Widdershins should be my absolute catnip. It features a m/m romance in a fantasy Victorian setting between a private detective and a geeky, shy philologist. One of the supporting characters is a woman who struggles to be respected as an Egyptologist in a male-dominated field. Most of the action takes place in a giant museum, and I do love a good museum!
