RECOMMENDED: Sofia Khan is Not Obliged by Ayisha Malik is 99c! It has a new cover and I really like this updated one. Carrie reviewed this on and gave it B+:
This book succeeds because Sofia is so delightful. She’s devout but she sneaks cigarettes sometimes (often, actually). She’s smart and funny, but also young and uncertain. She makes a lot of mistakes but she’s always trying to do the right thing. She loves her family and they love her. Her voice is distinctive and endearing.

Dark Archives by Megan Rosenbloom is $3.99! I mentioned this on a previous Hide Your Wallet and it’s a nonfiction title about the phenomena of binding books in human skin. We have one in Boston! However, I’m unsure if this is one of those books that’s best to have in a physical copy.

A Scot in the Dark by Sarah MacLean is $1.99! I believe today is the last day for this deal, so get this one while you can. This is the second book in the Scandal & Scoundrel series. Some readers really loved the characters, especially the heroine. However, fans of MacLean say they didn’t felt this one measured up to her previous books.

His Wicked Reputation by Madeline Hunter is $1.99 at Amazon and $2.99 elsewhere! This is the first book in her Wicked Trilogy and involves a hero and heroine with a very antagonistic relationship, which many readers loved. However, some readers mentioned there was more telling than showing. It has a 3.7-star rating on Goodreads.
