Books on Sale: Libriomancer by Jim C. Hines & More

RECOMMENDED: Libriomancer by Jim C. Hines is $1.99! This urban fantasy novel combines things that a lot of us love: books and magic. Back when Carrie was a guest reviewer, she gave this book an A- grade and said it had a “fantastic concept.” Adam, Sarah’s husband, also says:

People who like fantasy in general will like this, but if you have any kind of literary nerd fandom, you will find Easter eggs in there.

Terminal Alliance by Jim C. Hines

Terminal Alliance

Terminal Alliance involves the janitorial crew of the Earth Mercenary Corps Ship Pufferfish. “Mops” Adamopoulos and her sanitation team are some of the humans serving on a Krakau ship. When all of the other humans on the ship turn feral (like zombies) and attack the crew, the Shipboard Sanitation and Hygiene Team has to survive the attack, save the ship, solve an ancient and interplanetary mystery, and avoid being killed. Books on Sale: The Obsession by Nora Roberts & More

RECOMMENDED: The Obsession by Nora Roberts is $1.99! Elyse really loved this book; she’s our resident romantic suspense reader. She does warn that the book can get pretty creepy, but she gave it an A- grade:

Which February titles are at the top of your to-buy list?

Unbound, by Jim C. Hines

Unbound

Yes, it’s here, my precious, we likes it! Unbound, by Jim C. Hines, the third book in the Magic Ex Libris series is finally out, to my great rejoicing. Yes, you will have to read the previous two books to appreciate this one (Libriomancer and Codex Born). Yes, you will love them. Libriomancer introduced the characters, led by Isaac Vainio, magician and librarian. Isaac is a libriomancer, meaning he can use magic to pull objects … Continue reading Unbound, by Jim C. Hines
