Molly Molloy & the Angel of Death by Maria Vale is $2.49! This is a Kindle Daily Deal, as are most of today’s featured sales. I highly suggest listening to the podcast we did with Maria on this book. She explains it well that this isn’t a romance per se.

Housebroke is a perfectly charming romance that is lighter than air and that has very little active conflict. There is no reason for this couple not to begin registering for wedding gifts by, oh, say, Chapter Three. This is a lovely couple whose problems consist of one of them having too much money. In other words, a non-problem. For goodness sake, Hazel, open the dog shelter of your dreams and get on with the relationship … Continue reading Housebroke by Jaci Burton →

Hide that wallet because we’re talking about new releases! The good news is that the rest of this month is looking pretty light. We get to take a nice little break and given our wallets and library holds a rest. All we have are contemporary romances on our list this week, but they feature gaming, scene-stealing animals, and broadway performers. What books are you excited for this week? Tell us in the comments!
In this week’s podcast episode, we’re looking at the advertisements and features inside the June 2014 issue of Romantic Times, aka RT Book Reviews. We have more Lightning Reviews! Yay! I feel like in terms of genre, these books could not be more different. One is a second chance romance with firefighters, while the other is a continuation of a much-loved historical mystery series. Let’s get into it!
All Consuming was the sweet, hot, low-tension romance that I really needed this week. Kal and Hannah were a couple in high school, but broke up when Kal left for college. They reconnect at their ten year school reunion, and find that not only is the spark still there, but that time and experience have made them better able to love each other in the ways they both need. There isn’t a lot of conflict … Continue reading All Consuming by Jaci Burton →

If you’re new to Hide Your Wallet, this is where we list new releases we’re pretty excited for in the coming month. Each reviewer has a book maximum (five per person), but we’ve separated HYW into two parts. The first HYW of the month will cover books that release from the 1st to the 14th. The second HYW will cover books released from the 15th to the end of the month. We also think this … Continue reading March 2021 New Releases, Part One →

Melting the Ice by Jaci Burton is $1.99! This is book seven in the Play-by-Play series and though it’s been a while since I’ve read this one, I think it’s fine as a standalone. I have a soft spot for this series as I devoured it rather quickly in my early 20s. The lovely team at Berkley even turned this cover into a poster for me. It hangs over my bed.
