
The Kingdom by Jess Rothenberg is $2.99! My roommate, who exclusively reads YA and has 600+ titles in our apartment, really enjoyed this one. I trust her opinion implicitly. She says it’s unsettling in the best way and is Westworld meet Disney princesses.

All three of these books are in a similar grade range, which is why I wanted to group them together, but they are very different. There is fantasy on audio, a f/f workplace romance with an ice queen doctor, and a contemporary romance with a grumpy Scotsman.
Ten Days with a Highlander is a good pick if you want a quick read with some top notch sexy banter. There are some elements, though, that lacked convincing emotional depth. RECOMMENDED: Moon Called by Patricia Briggs is $2.99! This is the first book in the Mercy Thompson urban fantasy series and I really loved this book. Admittedly, I’m not caught up in the series and have only read the first three or four books, so maybe someone can add some thoughts on how the series unfolds, whether good or bad. Many people love the heroine because she’s a bit of a badass. However, some people feel like the first book is a little slow.
