Pardon My Frenchie by Farrah Rochon is $3.99! This is a standalone contemporary romance and a pretty new release, coming out in June. If you love scene-stealing dogs, this one seems to be full of them!

I loved Battle Royal. While it did have minor flaws, it more than made up for them with humour, tenderness, and food porn.
The Bone Shard Daughter by Andrea Stewart is $2.99 and a Kindle Daily Deal! This fantasy novel was mentioned on a previous Hide Your Wallet, and it is a bit of a dark read. Carrie, Elyse, and Aarya have all read this book, and had a lot of positive things to say – Elyse finished it and immediately had Rich download the audiobook so they could talk about it.

I enjoyed this story a lot. It contains many of the elements that feel like a traditional Western to me – scenes of blizzards and horse-breaking, confrontations in the local saloon, slick shysters from out East come to take advantage of the locals – but the central characters buck the stereotypes in numerous ways.
