The Infamous Heir by Elizabeth Michels is 99c! This is book one in the Spare Heirs series. It features a prize-fighting hero who suddenly takes over his brother’s title of nobility. Readers wanted more chemistry between the hero and heroine, but many really loved the hero. I mean, based on the book’s description, who wouldn’t?
After a Fashion by Jen Turano is $1.99! This is the first book in the A Class of Their Own series, and is set in New York in the late 19th century. The conflicts are bountiful, too: crossing class boundaries, and pretend engagement to satisfy business arrangements. Readers who liked it say that the dialogue and banter are terrific – and the book has a 4-star average, too! (And gosh, the cover is gorgeous.)
RECOMMENDED: Daughter of Smoke & Bone by Laini Taylor is $2.99! This is a YA fantasy with some romantic elements, and it’s the first in a series. I’ve heard so many good things about this book, and several friends compared it to a fairy tale. Admittedly, it’s a tad confusing at the start, trying to get your footing in the story. It has a 4-star rating on Goodreads.
