RECOMMENDED: Emily Wilde’s Encyclopaedia of Faeries by Heather Fawcett is $1.99! We had a guest squee review of this one:
Chilling, packed with lore, and a slow burn, Emily Wilde’s Encyclopedia of Faeries by Heather Fawcett is the type of book I’ve been looking for. Their adventure from faerie field research to two professors running like hell from a faerie nightmare kept me on the edge of my seat.

Island Affair by Priscilla Oliveras is 99c! Oliveras was part of my contemporary romance panel for a previous Bookstore Romance Day, and she was a damn delight. Trigger warning for this one as I believe the heroine is in recovery for disordered eating.

A Wicked Kind of Husband by Mia Vincy is $3.99! This features a married couple who wed out of convenience living two separate lives until they are forced back into each other’s proximity. I’ve heard really good things about this book and for a time, it was recommended a lot on social media. This the third book in a series and the others are this price as well.

How to Bake Everything by Mark Bittman is $4.99 at select vendors! This is part of today’s Kindle Daily Deals and if you’ve ever seen a Bittman book in person, you’ll know this is a pretty decent price. Those things are massive in size and are normally $35-$40.

It’s about that time for some Cover Awe. This is the opposite of Cover Snark; we talk about covers we like and why we like them! Elyse: YASSS! Amanda: The movement is fantastic. Also…it’s “Project Runway meets Mulan.” I love both of those things! Carrie: The movement, and also I love the balanced composition with the wing and the flag, and just in general the unique imagery! Amanda: I don’t know what it is about … Continue reading Cover Awe: Flowers, Color Palettes, & More
