Witches Get Stitches by Juliette Cross is $2.49 at Amazon! This is book three in the Stay a Spell series and book two is also in sale. I feel like if you want fun, small town romance with a quirk paranormal feel, this could tick all of those boxes.
The Kingmaker by Kennedy Ryan is FREE! If you’ve been looking to try out Ryan’s steamy, angsty contemporaries, you can’t beat free. This is the first book in a completed duet and I believe the first book has a bit of a cliffhanger. Correct me if I’m wrong!

Seven Minutes in Heaven is written with Eloisa James’ customary wit and charm. It’s an enchanting book with one major caveat – the main conflict could have been resolved in Chapter One if people just spoke clearly. I’m not a fan of stories that revolve around a misunderstanding. Still, I enjoyed it because the writing is so good and the characters so delightful.
RECOMMENDED: The Fifth Season by N.K. Jemisin is $1.99! This is a Kindle Daily Deal and it’s being price-matched! Elyse loved this book and gave it an A:
The Fifth Season is also a relatively quick read. It opens with a cataclysmic disaster and doesn’t slow down its pace. Its characters travel widely. My only word of warning is that the book ends on a massive cliffhanger. Fortunately the sequel, The Obelisk Gate, will be released in August. After finishing this book I’m making desperate grabby hands for the next one.
If you like immersive, action-driven fantasy and if you want a fantasy world that’s not Euro-centric–or if you just love a really, really good story–I cannot recommend The Fifth Season enough.
