RECOMMENDED: Wildfire by Ilona Andrews is $1.99! This is the third (and final?) book in the Hidden Legacy series and trust me, this series is amazing. I’m hoping this isn’t the last time I get to visit this world. I wouldn’t suggest reading this without reading the ones before it, though the first book is often on sale. You may have already picked it!

Dragon Fall by Katie MacAlister is $1.99! This book was picked by Sarah and Elyse in July’s Hide Your Wallet. It’s also the first book in the Black Dragons series. Some readers took some issue with the heroine, finding her dialogue to be a little juvenile. However, others loved Katie’s usual blend of humor and romance. Have you read this one?

RECOMMENDED: Secrets of a Scandalous Heiress by Theresa Roman is $1.99 FOR TODAY ONLY! Redheadedgirl reviewed the book and gave it an A:
I really enjoyed everything about this book. The characters were fascinating and not the standard duke (I don’t have anything against the standard duke, mind, but I like reading about the 99%, too). I loved Joss’ identity issues, and the setting made me so happy. I also really liked that there wasn’t an evil villain in the background twirling his mustache and cackling. This was a delight.

RECOMMENDED: The Bees by Laline Paull is $1.99! I LOVED this book. Margaret Atwood, whom I worship like a saint, tweeted about the book, calling it a mix between a Cinderella story and an Arthurian tale. I knew I had to read it. On GoodReads, I gave it a 4-star rating and a mini review:
This book was unlike anything I’ve read before, and I found it both unique and mesmerizing. However, the last fifty pages seemed to lack the care and craft of the ones before it. The ending was over in a rush and I felt Flora’s story should have continued on with more detail. Regardless, I was impressed with Paull’s storytelling and her ability to make bee life interesting.
Also, it’s legitimately about bees. Like bees that think and talk and exist in their strange bee society. It so weird, but so good. That’s all I can say.
