A Study in Honor by Claire O’Dell is $1.99 at Amazon! It’s full price elsewhere, so this could be a sign that the sale is ending soon. This is the first book in the Janet Watson Chronicles and is a reimagining of Holmes and Watson. Readers say the writing is really fantastic, but that the pacing and focus on characterization caused the mystery elements to drag.

A Princess in Theory by Alyssa Cole is $1.99! This is the first book in her Reluctant Royals series and this seems to be a series that just keeps getting better with its books. Many readers loved how Alyssa writes consent, agency, and all sorts of other awesome and empowering things. However, some warn that this book takes several chapters to get into the swing of things.
