I have a hunch that this book will launch an A+ series, but it feels too much like a prequel to be graded an A+ and too much of a good prequel to merit anything less than an B+.

If you enjoy sci-fi, arranged marriage/marriage of convenience stories, courtly intrigues, and/or slow-burn romance, I think Winter’s Orbit is a great choice.

How to Find a Princess is an imaginative twist on a modern lost royal trope, and a character-driven story that made me fall in love with everyone I met, even if they occasionally frustrated me.

It’s a must-read for the summer if you’re looking for an adorable, empathetic, and joyful romance.
I encourage you to pick up Playing House to transport you into another world for a few hours. It might be the escape you desperately need; it certainly was for me.
The Art of Theft by Sherry Thomas is $1.99! This is book four in the Lady Sherlock series, which the Bitchery and Sarah highly recommend. I do believe these books should be read in order, but if you’re looking to collect all the books on your Kindle, this is a great deal.
Thorn by Intisar Khanani is $2.99! I believe this falls more into YA than adult fantasy, but please correct me if I’m wrong. We don’t have a review of this one up, but it has the Sneezy stamp of approval. She’s mentioned it several times on site and I believe read it before it was picked up by a traditional publisher.
This was my most anticipated book of 2019, and I was terrified that it wouldn’t live up to my expectations. I adored Kann’s debut, Let’s Talk About Love, and number 96 on my list of why is how body positive it was. If you’re unsure if it’s for you, read Elyse and Sarah’s joint review (it earned a B+) and, as a bonus, check out Sarah’s podcast episode with the author. Not that I’m biased, but it’s one of my favorites.
