This is the first book in the Glamourist Histories series; the third fourth book, Valour and Vanity, is nominated in the Novel with Strong Romantic Elements category for this year’s DABWAHA. This book was also a Nebula nominee and an nominee for the RT Reviewers’ Choice Award in the fantasy category. The book is often compared to Jane Austen, but with fantasy thrown in.
