While readers seemed to love the chemistry between the hero and heroine of the book, they wished that more of the book went toward solving the mystery of the plot. RECOMMENDED: Bossypants by Tina Fey is $3.99! This is a Kindle Daily Deal and is being price-matched, yay! I loved, loved, loved this book. More than I loved Yes, Please by Amy Poehler. It’s very funny and Fey makes it seem almost effortless. I have a hardcopy of this book and I refuse to lend it out from fear I’ll never get it back.
Love in the Time of Scandal by Caroline Linden is $1.99! This is a historical romance and was mentioned on a previous podcast with Redheadedgirl, who used this book as a palate cleanser after reading Grey. This has a marriage of convenience element to it, and readers loved watching the hero and heroine come to terms with their arrangement. However, others felt differently about the main couple, finding the heroine too stubborn. Have you read this one?

I really enjoyed this book! I laughed out loud many times at some of the tiniest details, such as a lamb named Dinner that was still living at the end of the story. I loved the running joke on “Mrs. Worthington’s Wisdom” – a book that was filled with anything but wisdom on what is proper for a lady to do or say or not do or say.
