Burn for Me by Ilona Andrews is $1.99! Burn for Me is the first book in the Hidden Legacy series, and is an urban fantasy/billionaire story with magic, suspense, and a 4.4-star rating from readers on GoodReads. For those who remember, this book made it to the finals in this year’s DABWAHA tournament, and it was beaten by another Ilona Andrews title – Magic Breaks ( A | K | G | AB | Au )

SEAL of Honor by Tonya Burrows is $1.99! This is the first book in her romantic suspense HORNET series, which I’m guessing has nothing to do with the insect. I’m assuming that the other titles in the series will follow the rest of the hero’s team members, at least that’s what I’m hoping! Readers thought Burrows captured a great balance between romance and suspense, though some felt the plot got a little bit muddled halfway through the book. It has a 4-star rating on GoodReads.

The Sweet Dreams Boxed Set is available for preorder for $9.99. While this is more expensive than the books we typically feature as being on sale, the proceeds go to diabetes research. The set is curated by author Brenda Novak and features thirteen romantic suspense stories. If romantic suspense isn’t your thing, there is also a set of contemporary romances – Sweet Talk [bookmention slug=”sweet-talk-boxed-set”] – and erotica – Sweet Seduction [bookmention slug=”sweet-seduction-boxed-set”]. Last year’s boxed sets generated nearly $100,000 and it would be great if we could help do it again!

Wild About You by Kerrelyn Sparks is $2.99! This is a paranormal romance and is the thirteenth book in the Love at Stake series. Wowzers. Despite how the hero looks on the cover, he’s not a vampire, though his boss is. Instead, our hero is a shapeshifter. Fans of the longstanding series on GR anxiously awaited this hero’s story, though some found the book to be a “filler book” in the series. It has a 4.2-star rating on GR.

Kiss of Christmas Magic is 99c! For less than a dollar, you can get twenty (yes, twenty!) paranormal holiday romances. The set includes your standard fare of werewolves and vampire, but also has stories with fey, dragons, and ghosts. There’s something for everyone, which is totally in the spirit of the holidays. Some GR reviewers are saying it’s one of the best holiday anthologies that they’ve read, while a few said there were only a small handful of stories out of the collection that they liked. It has a 4.1-star rating on GR.

A Will and a Way by Nora Roberts is .99c, and I think this is a rather limited time deal. This is a contemporary first published in 1986 (expect possible sightings of shoulder pads, or maybe some cigarette smoking) as part of the Silhouette “Language of Love” series. This is an enemies-to-lovers story with a will (obviously) that requires them to be in close proximity – which always works out perfectly. For the reader, anyway.
ETA: Except when not! Thanks to Emily, who has a much better memory than I do, I have a link to a review of this book that I wrote in 2005. I disliked this book immensely – and gave it a D – due in part to the I love you I hate you no wait no I still hate you slap-slap-kiss.
