I’ll Have What He’s Having by Adib Khorram is $4.99! Dahlia mentioned this one in her Queer Romance Roundup. Carrie also gave it a B-:
This was a lovely read that didn’t ask too much of my emotions. It was comforting but forgettable. I could read a chapter, wander off, and not think of it again for a month…but when I did get around to picking it up, I instantly remembered how warm and fuzzy it was.
Miss Percy’s Pocket Guide (to the Care and Feeding of British Dragons) by Quenby Olson is $2.49 and a Kindle Daily Deal! I mentioned this on a previous Get Rec’d after I saw several of our community members talking about it in the comments and I always try to highlight books our readers have enjoyed.

The Duke Who Didn’t was always going to be a book that made me happy. Humour, food, and a gentle hero who just wants the heroine to be less stressed are a pretty good formula for getting onto my keeper shelf.
Out of Character by Annabeth Albert is $1.99! This is part of the True Colors series and features all sorts of nerdery and fandom culture, if you like that in your romances. I’ve heard this series skews a little more toward New Adult. Thoughts?
If you’re a fan of Connie Willis, I would suggest you give this series a try. It doesn’t take itself quite so seriously, and Max as a heroine and audience surrogate is a lot of fun. It’s potentially a commitment, given that there are 9 books and a bunch of novellas, but I’m looking forward to making a dent in my TBR pile to read the next book.
RECOMMENDED: The Secret Lives of Country Gentleman by KJ Charles is $1.99! I’m hoping this isn’t a leftover KDD from yesterday. Carrie gave this one a B+:
The strengths of this book are in the balancing of conflict with humor and optimism, the rich characterizations, and the portrayal of life on the marsh, as well as a romance between two opposites. It’s entertaining, exciting, and immersive. While I wanted a little more from the ending, I enjoyed this book overall!
RECOMMENDED: Behind the Scenes by Karelia Stetz-Waters is $3.99 and a Kindle Daily Deal! I loved this book so much and you can hear me talk about it on a podcast episode we did with the author!
Go Hex Yourself by Jessica Clare is $1.99! This was part of the deluge of last year’s witchy romances and I mentioned it on Hide Your Wallet. Lots of enemies to lovers vibes coming from this one.
Ravished by Amanda Quick is $1.99! This is a historical romance with some Beauty and the Beast vibes, which many readers loved. However, other readers felt the heroine’s characterization was a bit inconsistent with constant mood changes. It has a 4-star rating on Goodreads. Have you read this one?
Something Fabulous by Alexis Hall is $1.99! Of course, we’re big fans of Alexis Hall at the Bitchery and this is a rompy, road trip adventure. It came out in January. Did any of you pick this one up?
