RECOMMENDED: Throne of the Fallen by Kerri Maniscalco is $3.99! I enjoyed this one and it reminded me a lot of sexy, early 2000s paranormal romances (which may or may not be your thing). I gave it a B+:
Throne of the Fallen is a “yes, and…” sort of book that you just have to lean into, which I happily did. It’s extremely cliched and tropey, and I’d eat this nonsense for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

RECOMMEND: Hurts to Love You by Alisha Rai is $3.99! This is the third book in the Forbidden Hearts series. It’ll probably behoove you to read the previous books (the previous one is also on sale!), as this one does wrap up some things. Elyse wrote a Lightning Review for this one and gave it a B+.
RECOMMENDED: The Marriage Contract by Katee Robert is 99c! This is an arranged marriage plot in a modern setting and Elyse is addicted to this series. The book does deal with characters in the mob, which I know is a big off-button for some readers, so FYI. Elyse’s reviewed this one and she gave it an A:
If you had told me that I’d really love a book about the children of two Boston mob bosses being in an arranged marriage, I’d have raised a skeptical eyebrow. But I’m so so glad that The Marriage Contract proved me wrong because I enjoyed it immensely.
