Awaken the Dragon by A.C. Arthur is $1.99! This is the first book in a paranormal romance that features dragons. It was also mentioned in a previous Hide Your Wallet. Do fall and Halloween get you in a PNR mood?
My Sweet Folly by Laura Kinsale is $2.99! This book sounds absolutely bananas. Readers really loved the heroine and how witty she was. However, given the bananas quality of the book, some said the pacing is a bit all over the place. Have you read this one?
The City We Became by N.K. Jemisin is $3.99! This is part of today’s Kindle Daily Deals and is being price-matched. Jemisin is a brilliant author and you should snap up any book when it’s on sale. This is a departure from Jemisin’s previous high fantasy titles and is more urban fantasy with some superhero vibes.
One Night Wife by Ainslie Paton is 99c! This is book one in The Confidence Game series and I thought we had mentioned it previously on the site, but alas, it did not already exist in our database. It’s possible I saw it from Elyse’s Goodreads because she rated it five stars.
Circe by Madeline Miller is $4.99! This is a Kindle Daily Deal and it’s being price matched. I know $4.99 is a little higher for books we feature on sale, but everyone and their mom has been loving Circe lately. I want to say that half of my book group has read it by now. Have you read it? Does it live up to the hype?
Of Beasts and Beauties is 99c! This is anthology of Beauty and the Beast retellings and the stories are described as being full-length. Readers recommend this anthology for fans of BatB, though they say there are obvious standouts.
The Love Experiment by Ainslie Paton is a workplace romance with a plot that involves that 36 questions test which supposedly leads to love.
