Stuff We Like: Aw, Hello Cyber Monday

I love the name “Cyber Monday.” It’s so retro and cute. But the actual Cyber Monday itself, ending a four-day nonstop cascade of email about sales and discounts from everywhere I’ve ever shopped ever is a little overwhelming!

So I wanted to compile a special edition of Stuff We Like to share any discount codes, sales, or noteworthy opportunities before they expire.

As always: some of these links are affiliate-coded, which means a portion of your purchase comes back to us at no extra cost. Our affiliate sales are one of our revenue streams that keep the hot pink lights on in the hot pink palace, so shopping through our links is much appreciated!

OK, let’s DO THIS CYBER MONDAY.

Kindles!

Yup, they’re on sale. The Kindle Oasiswhich is the model I have, is on sale at one of the lowest prices I’ve seen: down to $165 from $250 for the 8GB model. The Paperwhite is $95, down from $140 for the 8GB model with lockscreen ads.

And the newest Kindle, which appears to not have a name other than “Kindle 2022” is down to $85 with lockscreen ads.

And if you’re not already a Kindle Unlimited subscriber, the current Black Friday/Cyber Monday deal is three months for .99 each, renewing at $9.99 afterward. Please note that you have to be signed in to your account to see the deal.

Native deodorant Native

If you, like many of us here at SBTBHQ, really love Native products, their sale is pretty great: 30% off orders over $30 through 11/29/22! (I love their body wash and deodorant). And with this link you get a free mini deodorant with purchase (and I do, too!).

Succulents

Yes, I got into succulents. One of my son’s friends gave out mini succulents as a party favor and what is not to love about a plant that’s neat looking and also wants to be left alone? I have some from Trader Joe’s, but I’ve also ordered plants and supplies from Mountain Crest Gardens. Their Cyber Monday deal includes 20% off all individual plants and sets with code MC20 today only.

Air Pods and Galaxy Buds

If you’re an Apple person or know someone who is, Apple AirPods  are on sale at Amazon for $200, down from $250.

As an Android person, I have a pair of Galaxy Buds Live, aka “the headphone beans” and I carry them around with me all the time. They’re on sale for $80 down from $150.

Board Games!

Target has buy-2-get-1-free on board games! WOOT. Amanda took advantage of this one, and the sale includes Catan, Ark Nova, Tapestry, and other popular (and pricey) games!

Video Games

Steam’s sale for BF/CM is always fun to browse (PENTIMENT IS SO GOOD Y’ALL).

There’s also a sale on the Meta Quest 2 VR headset, specifically for Cyber Monday, which takes $50 off the price, dropping form $400 to $350.

Portable Batteries

I tend to get new Anker portable batteries every other year, and there are some great 30-35% off sales today!

Bags

eBags is having a sitewide 30% off sale, plus an extra 15% off eBags branded items with code CYBER15.

We have the Mother Lode travel backpack and use it constantly. It’s $80 down from $120 today! It holds SO Much and fits in most overhead compartments. I might buy one for each of the dudes.

And we all have a Pack-it-Flat Toiletry case, and it’s astonishing how much it holds. It’s on sale for 30% off at $21!

Makeup

If you have some favorite beauty products, have a look at their pages – Sephora has an absolute pile of products at up to 50% off.

BOOKS.

Oh, yes, they’re on sale everywhere. Bookshop has free shipping and a big ol’ sale on many many titles (including some in our reading shop!) A copy of one of your favorite books this year would make a very thoughtful gift – whether it’s fiction, a cookbook, or something beautiful to look at.

What deals have you spotted? What have you grabbed for yourself and others? And do you have any leftovers for lunch today?

    I love Native’s body wash and hair care products, but the deodorant did not work for me. I think this was because I tried the coconut and vanilla scent, and the smell really didn’t go with my body chemistry. I have since used the cucumber and mint scent in body wash and hair care, and have had much more success. But I’m still afraid to try the deodorant again.

    WOW! Thank you the KU information. I was on site earlier for books and didn’t see any information about that sale.

    @SBSarah:

    Have those of you at SBHQ tried the hair care products from Native?

  4. @SB Sarah says:

    @Stefanie: I haven’t! I be they smell amazing.

    just wanted too say THANK YOU! I did the 3 month subscription and also ended up some more bags, about which I found out, here at STBT originally! thanks!

    YAY! You are so welcome!!!

    @SBSarah:

    The almond and shea butter scent which isn’t available in any other products smells really good, and the Cucumber and Mint scent smells good also, but it is more subtle. I haven’t tried the Coconut and Vanilla because it is used in the moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, and my hair does not need extra moisturization. The Cucumber and Mint is used in their volumizing shampoo and conditioner which I like and tends to work better for my hair type, and the almond and she butter is used in their strengthening shampoo, conditioner, and hair mask which I have also used.

    @SBSarah:

    Furthermore, Native doesn’t sell any hair styling products. I wish they did, since I like the hair care products they sell, and am left having to go to other companies for something with which to style my hair. I am trying to find good inexpensive products since all the hair care products at my salon are on the pricy side.
