I miss hanging out with my sweet dog on the couch, but he’s passed on. Now it’s me and my cat. I wouldn’t say no to a significant other, especially if I could put my feet on them while we watch tv! XD

I’m waiting on delivery of a new, comfy-cozy throw. When it arrives, I’d love the opportunity to snuggle up in front of an all-ages movie (“Finding Dory”? “The BFG”?) with my nieces. They’re verrrrry busy young ladies; not much room on their schedules to sit still. What I’d really like is for the three of us to be deeply involved in great books, but I haven’t been able to infuse their souls with the all-consuming love (worship) of reading. Yet.
I love to hang out on the couch with my lovely husband, though our dog, Zeus, gets the most cuddles, as he always wedges himself in between us.

Richard Dean Anderson is who I’d like to snuggle on the couch with. He has been a gleam in my eye for decades ever since I saw the very first promo for MacGyver. I’d seen him in other things, but that role clinched it for me.

I want to snuggle with my brother in law’s beagle. Thankfully I was able to yesterday, but I miss him already.
I cuddle on the couch with one of the heroes from my own novels. I think through scenerios and then write the scene on my laptop. Sometimes my Welsh Corgi gets in the act by snuggling into my lap as well.
Usually it’s me with a super plush throw, and one or more cats wadded up next to and on my legs and feet. Which makes getting up to go to the bathroom perilous.
Jensen Ackles, or Sam Huegen. Or both. But in much greater likelihood of their absence I’d happily hunker down with any combination of my hubby, daughter, and pup.
Hubby and a grandkid or two would be my snuggle buddies.

Carrie Fisher has been on my mind yesterday and today due to her untimely death. I would like to sit sock-footed and cross-legged on a comfortable couch with her with hot mugs of tea cradled in out hands and just talk with her about her life experiences. I thought she was brave to talk about her battle with mental illness and courageous to speak out about ageism and sexism in Hollywood, and she was ahead of her time speaking about both. I’d ask her about the books she wrote and the screenplays she worked on. Her views and opinions were touching and hilarious and always made an impression on me when she shared them because they contained an inherent truth. It blew my mind when she recently revealed that she and Harrison Ford had that hot affair during the filming of the first Star Wars movie. Dish, girlfriend! In my imagination there’d probably be a lot of tears and snort-laughing.
