Good morning and Merry Christmas to everyone who is celebrating!
Time for the second night of our annual eight straight days of giveaways to celebrate Hanukkah!
Today, we’re celebrating Carrie’s love of science fiction, kickass heroines, fantasy, history, subversiveness, and comics!
Some of the items in this giveaway are so awesome, I was seriously tempted to switch them out with something else, but NO.
These are for y’all and… yeah, have a look:
The LoungeFly Black Widow Mini Dome Satchel, which I mentioned in a recent gift guide and recommended by Jennifer Estep.
A Hardcover copy of Rejected Princesses: Tales of History’s Boldest Heroines, Hellions, and Heretics by Jason Porath

A selection of three matchbook-style notebooks featuring the original covers of Flowers from the Storm, The Flame and the Flower, and The Kadin, produced to celebrate Avon’s 75th Anniversary.

A spiral bound vintage Harlequin cover notebook, featuring Nine to Five. You can keep all your own not-too-private secrets in there!
Ready to enter! Leave a comment telling us what romance is absolutely on your keeper shelf for ever and ever. Is it an older title you’ve moved several times from home to home? Is it a new book that blew your mind? What’s on your keeper shelf?

Thank you to everyone who entered, and come back until the last day of Hanukkah – we’re having mayhem-levels of fun every night until then!

Pride and Prejudice, of course!
Not Quite A Husband by Sherry Thomas
Cowboy Take Me Away by Lorelei James.
All the books in her Rough Riders series are on my keeper shelf but CTMA is extra special to me!
Thanks for the chance to win
The Ice Maiden by Sally Wentworth
Pride and Prejudice for sure!!
Carla Kelly! Marian’s Christmas Wish! Also, can’t wait to read the comments on this one!
Argh, I dunno why I read this as *holiday* romance! I retract my comment, and go with Pride & Prejudice!
The Dark Highlander by Karen Marie Moning
The Grand Sophy. I am also a woman of height.
Well there is this Jude deveraux that I read several times as a teen. Though I have not read it now cos I am afraid it wont be as good :/
Hmm, but what was the name, I read the translation back then. It was Highland something..Velvet SOng
Souless! Every time I want to see how to write one of the best intro pages ever I crack it open… And then totally get sucked in.

Hmm, but what was the name, I read the translation back then. It was Highland something..wait..Velvet SOng? I guess I should try it in English 😉
Agnes and the Hitman by Jennifer Crusie
Unveiled by Courtney Milan
Judith McNaught – Almost Heaven. Classic cheesy old skool, followed me on my shelf for many years now 🙂
I had to remind myself, repeatedly, that the comment section of this post is not allowed to double as my “to buy” list on Amazon. 😉
I have two: Elemental Assassin series by Jennifer Estep and the Rock Chick series by Kristen Ashley.
Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen
The Wolf and the Dove by Kathleen Woodiwiss! I’ve read it so many times it’s in really rough shape. I’v thought to replace it, but the new cover while pretty isn’t right lol.
Happy Holidays Ladies.
Lord of Scoundrels by Loretta Chase – and I am currently re-reading it too!
Lord of Scoundrels by Loretta Chase!
My keep shelf is everything by Laura Kinsale, Jennifer Crusie, and Jennifer Blake.
Loving Julia by Karen Robards
My absolute keeper shelf books are Just Like Heaven by Julia Quinn and Lord of Scoundrels by Loretta Chase. I can’t choose just one!!
Merry Christmas, everyone!!
Jo Beverley An Unwilling Bride. It is marriage of convenience and it makes sense!!!!
A Promise of Fire by Amanda Bouchet. I’ve read it 4 times now, and it just came out. I never do that.
Duke of Midnight by Elizabeth Hoyt. Such a comfort read!
These old shades by Georgette Heyer
On my digital shelf, Act Like It by Lucy Parker – on my analog shelf, The Duke and I by Julia Quinn!
The OUTLANDER series by Diana Gabaldon – love this.
I can’t say I have an actual shelf, because it would probably take up a room considering the size of Braille books. Having said this, Outlander holds the spot as the first book I bought with my own money that wasn’t in Braille. I bought in Kindle and audio after reading it through the Library of Congress and wanting a copy of my own.
Lord of Scoundrels by Loretta Chase is definitely on the keeper shelf!
Some Brief Folly by Patricia Veryan. And everything else by her, of course. She will always be a keeper for me. I wish she had written more. Or that there were more books like hers. Sniff.

Outlander, Northern Lights by Nora Roberts, The Hating Game by Saly Thorne, and Attachments by Rainbow Rowell.
Lord of Scoundrels by Loretta Chase and all my Signets by Mary Balogh.
Jean Ross Ewing’s “Illusion.”
Outlander, for sure!
Judith McNaught’s Perfect was my introduction to romance when I was a teenager. My perspective has changed over the years but my love for that book never will!
I don’t read romances, but that bag is totally awesome!
Dream a little Dream by SEP 🙂
Merry Christmas 🙂
