My Elsie Lee paperbacks (published in mid-60s to early 70s). She was ahead of her times with feisty, smart heroines. I’ve lost a few through some moves but would love to see them available in ebook form.

  4. Heather S says:

I could take the easy way and say “Lord of Scoundrels”, but I would say “Faith & Fidelity” by Tere Michaels. It has moved with me four times since 2009 (one of those moves halfway across the country). I love Matt and Evan to bits.

So many to choose from. Since I’m thinking of my aunt who passed away earlier this year, I’ll go with the one she gave me from her shelf, Spring Fires by Cynthia Wright. I still have the original and all her her books as ebooks. They definitely get reread!

  15. Lori says:

Everything by Kristan Higgins and Deanna Raybourn! I am so happy to have discovered these two authors on this site.

Long term love is Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier. I have loved that book since high school and it is well worn with that love 🙂

  16. jmom says:

    Just one book? Really?

The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie by Jennifer Ashley grabbed hold of me and never has let go.
I recently found Celeste Bradley and her Liar’s Club series. The Pretender had me laughing, Agatha is one of the best heroines ever.
Elizabeth Hoyt’s Maiden Lane series is also a favorite.
