Single Dads Club by Therese Beharrie is $1.99 from Amazon! Aarya mentioned this one in Hide Your Wallet over the summer. She’s enjoyed Beharrie’s romances previously and thought this one sounded pretty cute.
Forget Met Not by Julie Soto is $2.99! This is a contemporary romance debut and I mentioned this one on a previous Hide Your Wallet. I liked this one! The book does switch between past and current events to show more of the main couple’s previous history, but I understand it could be a jarring format for the reader.
RECOMMENDED: When a Scot Ties the Knot by Tessa Dare is $1.99! Elyse loved this book so much and gave it an A:
Everything about When a Scot Ties the Knot by Tessa Dare worked for me. Everything. Bust out the squee mop, y’all because this review is just going to be a flappy-hands Good Book Noise® mess.

Dear readers, I would be remiss if I did not point out that Cassandra Khaw’s book The Salt Grows Heavy is about what happens when a horror story version of a mermaid teams up with a version of Frankenstein’s monster to burn it all down. It is, in its own blood-soaked, rage-fueled way, a romance. There may not be many of us for whom this is our jam, but if it IS your jam, buckle up.
RECOMMENDED: The Rook by Daniel O’Malley $2.99! Carrie loves the series, especially the sequel Stiletto. It’s urban fantasy set in London with a badass cast of characters. But some found the book to have a lot of info-dumping. Have you read The Rook?
Paris Daillencourt Is About to Crumble by Alexis Hall is $2.99 and a Kindle Daily Deal! This is book two in the Winner Bakes All series. I loved book one, but really struggled with Paris and his treatment of the love interest. Last time this was on sale, the comments said that this one should have been marketing differently. What were your thoughts?
READER RECOMMENDED: Game Changer by Rachel Reid $2.99! This is the first book in a series of the same name and is a M/M hockey romance. I know other books in the series have been reviewed on the site. Are you a fan? Do you have a favorite?
Maggie Moves On by Lucy Score is $2.99! This was mentioned on Hide Your Wallet and has a new cover design. Score’s books aren’t for me, but I’d love to hear from some people who love them.

I think if you have enjoyed the series overall this is a worthwhile read, but I wish my expectations had not been so high coming off the second book.
Blood Heir by Ilona Andrews is $1.49! This is a spin-off of Andrews’ Kate Daniels series with the main character being Kate and Curran’s ward. Obviously this will be a more nuanced read if you’ve finished or are familiar with the prior series. I dropped off that train around book three.
