Accidentally in Love by Danielle Jackson is $1.99! What a fun cover! I believe this can work find as a standalone, but is technically book two in the Buxom Budoir series.

RECOMMENDED: Fool Me Twice by Meredith Duran is $2.99! This historical is book two in the Rules for the Reckless series. Whenever Duran is mentioned, I know many of you talk about how much you love her books and hope she returns to writing someday. Fool Me Twice was a finalist for a RITA, so we have two RITA Reader Challenge reviews. Nita G. gave it an A-, and cover snark connoisseur PamG gave it an A. Both praised the writing and the character development. Have you read this one?

RECOMMENDED: The Rakess by Scarlett Peckham is $1.99! Carrie read this one and have it an A-:
The combination of personal catnip with descriptive language and complex characterization is spot on. I recommend this for fans of vocal feminism, found family, angst, and explicit sex in their historicals. I plan to read my copy many, many times!

Second Night Stand by Fay Stetz-Waters and Karelia Stetz-Waters is $2.99 and a Kindle Daily Deal! Shana recently gave this a B-:
Ultimately, this is a steamy sapphic romance where the love story easily overshadows the reality tv competition. Both heroines start the book feeling afraid other people will see their flaws, and I loved the themes of healing, being loved for your true self, not making work your whole life, and finding a new path to happiness.

Kilt Trip by Alexandra Kiley is $1.99! This is a standalone contemporary romance with a heroine who works as a travel consultant. Have any of you read this one?

System Collapse by Martha Wells is $2.99! This is the seventh book in the Murderbot series. I asked Sarah if you can jump in here. She said:
I think so. Obviously there’s more depth if you know the history, but Wells is a very strong writer and I think readers can start there if they wish. They’ll probably want to read all of them, which I support!

Girl Gone Viral by Alisha Rai is $1.99! Maya wrote a great review for this one and gave it a B-:
If you can handle some angst, some systemic oppression, and a distinct lack of totally justified vengeance, check out this slow burn romance between two damaged, but kind people of color who desire only each other and the safety of anonymity.

Husband Material by Alexis Hall is $1.99! This is the follow-up to Boyfriend Material. I definitely think you need to be a fan of the first book to really enjoy this one. Personally, I didn’t think it needed a sequel and was meh on it.

Once Persuaded, Twice Shy by Melodie Edwards is $1.99! This is a contemporary Persuasion retelling. Aarya mentioned this release in a previous Hide Your Wallet. She read Edwards’s debut, which was a Jane Eyre retelling, and said it reminded her of a 90s category romance, in a good way!

Topaz by Beverly Jenkins is $1.99! This is an earlier Jenkins historical. Readers loved the heroine, a tenacious reporter! Have you read this one?

The Hellion’s Waltz by Olivia Waite is $1.99! This is part of the Feminine Pursuits series. Carrie read this one and gave it a B-:
I never thought I’d say this, but The Hellion’s Waltz is just too darn nice. This historical f/f romance is beautifully written and full of kind, courageous, intelligent characters. It is also boring. Gouda Friends by Cathy Yardley is $1.99 at Amazon! If you’ve listed to literally any podcast episode I’ve been on with Sarah, you probably know I love cheese and I’m just tickled by the heroine’s dedication to dairy. This seems like a fluffy, small town romance that’s light on angst.
