RECOMMENDED: Ayesha at Last by Uzma Jalaluddin is $1.99! Carrie, who will read any and all Pride and Prejudice retellings, gave this one a B+:
Now THIS is how it’s done! Ayesha At Last is a lovely loose retelling of Pride and Prejudice, with a perfect mix of humor, heartbreak, misunderstandings, and humor. It’s a contemporary set in Canada and the characters are described with empathy and with plenty of surprises.
Ravenous by Kresley Cole is $1.99! I’m honestly shocked this is on sale only a month after release. I bought a hard copy of this one from a Florida store, ERRA Books, because Cole’s website mentioned they may still have swag left. And now I’m going to rant. I placed an order on 8/3. No movement. Emailed them 8/16. Haven’t gotten a response yet. Got a notification that a shipping label was printed 8/19. No movement. The site mentions the store is moving, but their last day at their previous location was in April. So perhaps they don’t have a new storefront yet? I’ll be on vacay in 10 days and was hoping to have it by then. I may break down and buy it digitally.
The Romance Revival by Christina Lauren is $6.99! This is a pretty new release; it came out in July. If you’re still stuck in a library hold queue, maybe consider snapping this up at a reduced price.
RECOMMENDED: Garden Spells by Sarah Addison Allen is $1.99! This author became an auto-buy for me after I read this book as a part of a Goodreads reading challenge. I would liken this book to women’s fiction with a magical realism slant. It’s heartwarming and beautiful. I even wrote a Keeper Shelf squee for it; that’s how much I love this book.
My Fair Frauds by Lee Kelly and Jennifer Thorne is $2.99! This is a historical mystery set in Gilded Age New York. I also believe it was a Hide Your Wallet mention. Not sure about the presence of romantic elements in this one, but let us know in the comments!
Her Night with the Duke by Diana Quincy by $1.99! This is the first in the Clandestine Affairs series. I remember seeing a lot of buzz for this one when it came out. Have you read this one?
This Kingdom Will Not Kill Me by Ilona Andrews is $6.99! Thank you to everyone who let us know about this reduced price. This was a big release in March and I wouldn’t be surprised if some of you were still on the waitlist at your local libraries.
Circe by Madeline Miller is $1.99! This is a big bestseller and I love hearing the convos over reader favorites: Song of Achilles or Circe. Sound off in the comments!

Cinder House is such a clever, inventive, re-imaging of Cinderella! This novella stuffs in a lot at the last minute, but other than that, it’s perfect.
Potent Pleasures by Eloisa James is $1.99! This was James’ debut historical romance. Many readers really seem to dislike the hero, while others said this was an emotional rollercoaster that left them a bit misty-eyed. During a previous sale, we asked what readers thought of the book and there’s some great conversation in the comments section to check out. Be warned there are spoilers though.
Father Material by Alexis Hall is $1.99! This is book three in the London Calling series. I was meh on this one, but I also know that a series that follows the same couple typically isn’t my bag. Did you like it?
