Family Jewels is a mystery that features two best friends who own a landscaping/ plant nursery business and also solve mysteries. It’s the first in a new series, an offshoot of the Rose Gardner mystery series, but you don’t have to have read the previous series to enjoy this book. There’s also a strong romantic subplot and lots and lots of unresolved sexual tension. Mercury Striking by Rebecca Zanetti is $1.99! This is a dystopian romance and the first in a new series. Readers loved the worldbuilding and thought the heroine had a nice blending of being confident yet vulnerable. However, some said they felt a little lost in all of the action. Be warned that there is some consent issues regarding spanking, as commented by Lia in a previous sale post.
One Night in Paris lured me into its clutches because it had “Paris” in the title. RECOMMENDED: Once Upon a Marquess by Courtney Milan is 99c! This is book one in the Worth Saga and I think SBTB has reviewed nearly every recent Milan release. RHG and Carrie did a joint review of this one. It earned an A grade and there was a lot of squeeing.
