I loved the book and would gleefully quote it all day. It made me feel happy and bubbly. It celebrated art of all kinds, even (possibly especially) shitty art. It made me feel hopeful and it made me laugh, and I love the message with which it begins and ends.

The Heiress Hunt by Joanna Shupe is $1.99! This is book one in Shupe’s latest historical romance series. Elyse recently reviewed this one and gave it a C-. I think Elyse and I both agree that Shupe does a wonderful job about giving us tantalizing sequel bait.
Content warning: lots of stabbings, beheadings, poisonings, deaths by burning, drowning, acid, and I’ve probably forgotten some others. Basically, lots of violent death, which will happen when you are having multiple military coups and revolutions and wars in one novel.
