Marrying Winterborne was a little bit of a disappointment because I expect SO MUCH from a Kleypas novel, but somehow also compulsively readable. One Good Earl Deserves a Lover by Sarah MacLean is $3.99! This is book two in her Rules of Scoundrels series with the first book also being on sale for $1.99. It also has a 4+ star average on GoodReads, and features a scientist heroine who is determined to learn about sexuality before her wedding night, and needs a rogue to help her with said research. The book does deal with cheating as the heroine is soon to be married to someone else, which I know some readers aren’t fond of in their books.

RECOMMENDED: Secrets of a Summer Night by Lisa Kleypas is $2.99 at Amazon, $5.69 at Google Play, and $5.99 at BN and elsewhere. The price matching fairies must be dizzy at this point.
This book has a four-star average and is the first in the Wallflowers quartet, one of the best series Kleypas has written. It focuses on four friends who for various reasons are very low on marriage prospects. The first book features Annabelle, who is trying to save her family by marrying a nobleman, and Simon who is in trade, and is among the most wealthy men in London.
I really liked this book because Annabelle and Simon both have to realize their own prejudices and snobbery (more on Annabelle’s side with that issue), and both deal with social expectations, too.

RECOMMENDED: Secrets of a Summer Night by Lisa Kleypas is $2.99. Hold onto your wallets – that’s a terrific price for a Kleypas book (and there are two more) (I’m sorry) (I bought them, too).
This is book 1 in the Wallflowers series, and is a class boundaries romance (a specialty of Kleypas’ if you’ve read her backlist). One thing I loved about this book was that the heroine, Annabelle, has to overcome her own prejudices and it’s not so easy for her.
