Someone Perfect is a slow burn, slowly paced romance that offers a highly emotional secondary conflict. RECOMMENDED: Uprooted by Naomi Novik is $2.99! A lot of people have recommended this book and Novik’s writing, but some readers did mention on Goodreads that the book is a bit slow at times. Do you love Novik’s writing? What did you think of this one?
Some Girls Bite by Chloe Neill is $2.99! Urban fantasy with some hints of romance, Some Girls Bite is the first book in the Chicagoland Vampire series. The cover had a pretty big facelift, by the way, and I think it’s actually an improvement. Some found the books elements a little silly (i.e. continuous Buffy references), while others really enjoyed them. Have you read this one?
RECOMMENDED: Song of Blood & Stone by L. Penelope is $1.99! This is the first book in the Earthsinger Chronicles and is an amazing fantasy romance. Penelope’s writing is so underrated, in my opinion. I also recommend her podcast episode with Sarah; Penelope has her own podcast as well: My Imaginary Friends.
Slightly Married by Mary Balogh is $2.99! This is the first book in the Bedwyn Saga, which is a favorite amongst romance readers. Though Balogh’s newer historicals haven’t really worked for me, I’m curious about this one. Have you read it?

Ancillary Justice by Ann Leckie is $2.99! I know Carrie really loves this book (and the entire series, I believe). It’s also a Hugo Award winner! Readers really loved the scifi world building, though some admitted wanting more action in the first book of the Imperial Radch series. This book is a Kindle Daily Deal of scifi and thrillers. Other books included in the deal are The Fifth Season, New York 2140, and more!
Someone to Wed somehow manages to both be a feel-good read and full of emotional catharsis. It hurts so good, you guys. I had all the feelings. So many feelings.
