Books on Sale: An Unconditional Freedom by Alyssa Cole & More

An Unconditional Freedom by Alyssa Cole is $1.99! This is the third book in Cole’s The Loyal League series, and came out this February. Reviews on Goodreads seem divided on whether this one was the best in the series, or didn’t live up to the first two. If you’ve read it, what do you think?

The Rec League: Queer Communities

The Rec League - heart shaped chocolate resting on the edge of a very old book

This Rec League comes from Will. Thanks, Will! I’m looking for a recommendation of a queer romance novel (ideally f/f or m/m or trans) with great side characters. I’d love a book with the feeling that the side characters have their own lives and their own stories. Hey, everyone! It’s Wednesday! Let’s all take a collective break, breathe deep, and enjoy some links. I am reporting deep in boob sweat central. It’s rough out here! If you’re with me, I definitely recommend Mega Babe’s Bust Dust. They also make my favorite thigh anti-chafing stick for when I wear shorts. For dresses, I love my Jockey slip shorts. How are you staying cool? And if you’re in a completely different season, how are … Continue reading Links: Dogs, Ink, & More

Here’s the book’s description: Ailsa Connery has waited … Continue reading Never Cross A Highlander by Lisa Rayne

Books on Sale: The Dry by Jane Harper & More

RECOMMENDEDThe Dry by Jane Harper is $2.99! I read this after Elyse’s review and found it to be a quick read. Elyse really enjoyed this mystery and gave it an A in a Lightning Review, there is a content warning though:

The Dry is an excellent, solid mystery. I loved the setting of a rural community struggling through a drought that sets everyone on edge and amplifies tensions.
