We have more Lightning Reviews! Yay! I feel like in terms of genre, these books could not be more different. One is a second chance romance with firefighters, while the other is a continuation of a much-loved historical mystery series. Let’s get into it!
As the title suggest, these Lightning Reviews are historical mysteries! I know the Bitchery loves this subgenre and are always on the hunt for more to add to their TBR pile, whether they like it or not. Maybe you’ll find something new to add or, at the very least, something to strike off the list.
We’re back with another Lightning Reviews duo! I love when I get to group the reviews together because sometimes there’s an unintentional theme and sometimes the selection is just wildly different. I think this time, it’s definitely the latter.
In subject matter alone, these two books could not be more different. There’s nonfiction, which Sarah has been talking about a lot in the podcasts and on our Twitch stream. She even has a podcast episode with the author coming up. The second Lightning Review is a historical romance and the third book in a series.
This edition of Lightning Reviews is a duo of books that couldn’t be more different. One is a contemporary western romance with big ol’ belt buckles and worn-in boots. The other book is filled with girl power, adventure, and a sisterly bond for the ages. Enjoy!
