Let’s take a look at some gorgeous covers! Cover art by Valentina Remenar Lara: Oh, I love that cover! Sneezy: That’s so atmospheric! Sarah: Well damn. Amanda: The position of the smoke! The dripping tea (or is it?). The image of the city within her body. Such great composition! Sarah: The hair over her eye! Echoed by the smoke! Sarah: This is pretty. Amanda: This reminds me of those I Spy books and you have … Continue reading Cover Awe: We Have a Clinch!→
My friend Trisha (Hi, Trisha! Miss you!) shared this to her IG stories, of people talking about what silly, whimsical thing they’re doing to bring a small joy to their life. The original ask started on TikTok. Here are some of the responses: I’ve asked my fellow SBTB teammates to share their whimsies with the world. Sarah: I keep a candle on the windowsill in my kitchen, and when I’m cooking dinner, I start with … Continue reading What’s Your Whimsy?→

Romancing Mister Bridgerton by Julia Quinn is $1.99! This is book four in the Bridgertons series, which is much loved around the Bitchery. Some readers advise reading the series in order for a richer experience, while others say you could jump into this as a standalone. What did you think of the Netflix adaption of this one? Is it the best one so far?
Remember Me by May Balogh is $1.99! This is book two in the Ravenswood series and it came out summer 2023. I don’t remember hearing much about this one, but I know Balogh is an auto-buy author.

First, I ask you to understand that I am notoriously bad at Instagram. (That sound you hear is Amanda laughing because it’s true.) Partially I’m bad at it because I don’t think it makes any sense. WHY make it hard for people to share content they like on their own feed?! WHY is reposting still a wonky process? Why have reels and stories and posts and oh, my gosh, JUST PICK TWO. Don’t add more. … Continue reading A Quick Inspiring Note From Mary Kay Andrews→

Welcome back to Whatcha Reading! This month came and went way quicker than January (thank god). Here’s how we’re wrapping up February: Lara: I’ve just started the next book in Katee Roberts Dark Olympus series, Sweet Obsession, and I have a new theory: the last book will be Hera, Zeus and Circe! I need to know how this story ends. Claudia: I am reading The Beast Takes a Bride and it may just be one of … Continue reading Whatcha Reading? February 2025, Part Two→
