My Lucky Star

Summary:

A scandal-plagued Turkish TV star needs me to impersonate his famous ex. What could possibly go wrong?

My acting dreams are officially dead. I’m back in my hometown of Napier, New Zealand, scouting film locations and building a sensible, low-expectation life. Then I discover Cem Erkam hiding in the historic hotel my client desperately needs.

He’s gorgeous, famous, and in serious trouble. His latest scandal could cost him the role that could save his career. I need his hotel. He needs some wholesome publicity. And I happen to look exactly like Burcu, his beloved former co-star and ex, the woman his fans are desperate to see him reunite with.

The plan is simple: give me a makeover, pass me off as Burcu, and stage a few convincing romantic photos.

Except our chemistry isn’t pretend.

Soon, our fake relationship takes me from secluded New Zealand locations to the glittering world of Istanbul. Cem insists he’s falling for the real me, but how can I trust his feelings when we’re both playing a part? And what about the acting dream I worked so hard to bury?

Do I return to the safe life I chose, or risk everything for acting, adventure, and a Turkish heartthrob who may be the most impossible dream of all?
