We are thrilled to announce that The Bookshelf, our reality book dating show, has been optioned!

Introducing The Bookshelf

A new reality dating show where the contestants are readers searching for their OTPR, their One True Perfect Read, from executive producers Amanda Diehl and Sarah Wendell.

Read on to find out how you can join us, and start your journey to become one of The Readers who finds their OTPR!

The Readers!

✔The Readers will move into our luxurious mansion, complete with en suite bedrooms with balconies.

✔Readers will spend their days amid incredible bedding and blankets and an uncountable number of reading (and drinking) couches.

✔The Readers will collaborate, not compete, to help one another find their OTPR - by blind dating a bookshelf of Mysterious Mystery Books!

The Show!

Finding your One True Perfect Read is a challenge, and we at The Bookshelf are ready to accept applications for our first round of Reader Contestants!

Elyse will be our Executive Bathtub on a Hillside Coordinator, ensuring perfect views, perfect water temperatures, and perfect reading experiences.

Shana will be our Mansion Manager, ensuring the finest food and drinks, a supportive welcoming environment, and accommodations for all dietary and environmental needs.

Pudding will of course judge us all, and we will be found wanting.

The Books!

Readers will begin in their own private libraries, listening to audiobook samples, and sharing their finds.

They’ll work together in groups to identify the Essential Traits of their OTPR, complete reading challenges, and follow treasure maps around the property to find their hidden Mysterious Mystery Books

The Mysterious Mystery Books are romances and adjacent genres, and include vintage and current releases, in every format including audio and enhanced editions.
