To Woo a Wicked Widow by Jenna Jaxon is 99c! This is the first book in The Widows’ Club and some of the subsequent books are also 99c. This has a heroine who is trying to avoid getting married again. Readers seemed divided on the heroine. Some enjoyed her independence, while others couldn’t really connect with her.
Daisy Jones & the Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid is $2.99! This was a huge hit when it came out and I’ve heard it’s fantastic on audio. The story also has some epistolary and interview type elements to revel things, if that’s your particular catnip.
RECOMMENDED: The Crier’s War by Nina Varela is $1.99! Ellen loved this one and gave it an A-:
I cannot stress enough how new and exciting this book felt. The premise really delivered both in terms of plot and in terms of how fully its implications were explored. The heroine duo was awesome, the queer love was amazing, the prose had me fully in my feels, and I’m still thinking about some of the deeper questions raised by this book several days later.
The English Wife by Lauren Willig is $1.99! This is a Kindle Daily Deal and is being price-matched. This is historical fiction with a mystery element, and I love this cover. Some readers found the plot a bit hard to follow. However, others love the dialogue and layers to story. Have you read this one?
A Princess in Theory by Alyssa Cole is $1.99! This is the first book in her Reluctant Royals series and this seems to be a series that just keeps getting better with its books. Many readers loved how Alyssa writes consent, agency, and all sorts of other awesome and empowering things. However, some warn that this book takes several chapters to get into the swing of things.
A Scandalous Proposal by Kasey Michaels is $1.99! This is a historical romance and the second book in The Little Season series. Readers recommend this one for a silly and light romance, while others mentioned they didn’t care for the hero and heroine’s frequent sexual fraternizing.

Fans of Reisz’s Original Sinners series will gobble this book up. For those looking for erotica without a ton of emotional angst, The Red is right up your alley. It’s a delightful, wicked fairytale and it’s a ton of fun.
The Forgetting by Sharon Cameron is $2.99! This is a Kindle Daily Deal and is being price-matched! This is a book that was included in Elyse’s Uppercase Box subscription. Readers loved how there were some great plot twists that they didn’t see coming, but others thought there was too much stuff wrapped up in the abrupt ending. Have you read this one?
Scoundrels of Summer is 99c! This is a historical romance anthology from four well-known romance authors. And…one of the stories is inspired by Beyoncé lyrics. I believe both the Linden and Ashe stories have been available previously, so if you’ve read those, that makes only two new romances in the collection.
The Dangers of Dating a Rebound Vampire by Molly Harper is $1.99 at most vendors! This is third book in the Half-Moon Hollow paranormal romance series, though the books can be read as standalones. Readers loved the humor mixed in with the romance, while others complained about the insta-love. It has a 4-star rating on Goodreads.
RECOMMENDED: It Had to Be You is Lucky Harbor #7, and it's $1.99 right now at most retailers. Essentially the Lucky Harbor series is built on sets of trilogies, and this is trilogy #3, centered around three heroes.
