Merry Christmas, Bitches!

We Smart Bitches wish you many wonderful novels in your stockings (or on your eBook reader, if you and Santa have that spunky digital connection – nudge nudge wink wink) and a peaceful, warm, and very Merry Christmas.

First, from Janet Mullany, this is so not what I am singing to the neighbors:

And second: each night Freebird and I drive around our neighborhood looking for lights. For a two year old, lights on houses is the coolest thing ever, especially when they come in funkass colors. So, from Freebird & me: funky houses with funky lights from across the US. Thank God they don’t live next door:

  1. You know I had to send out the Christmas song in a mass email to everyone I know. That is freaking awesome!!!!

    Merry Christmas, Bitches!!!!

  2. Can you imagine just having the spare time to plan one of those crazy light shows?  Getting that much free time would be a Christmas present all by itself!

    Merry Christmas to all!

  3. Brandi says:

What’s really scary is that that’s not the first Christmas song about fisting out there. (Vinnie and the Stardusters, “XXXmas Song,” 1999)

  4. Catchy tune.  I’m waiting for the SNL holiday album with “Dick in a Box” and “Fisting” together.

  5. Wry Hag says:

I would SO LOVE to have neighbors who did the lights-and-music thing—or even the cheerfully invited fisting thing—for Christmas…instead of some backwater cretin who threatens to shoot my dogs and all snowmobilers.

    I envy you, Sarah {{sigh…}}.

  6. J Harrell says:

I can say that the one that started these crazy lights (or at least, made it to national attention, complete with advertising budweiser in 2005), was here in Cincinnati (specifically, Mason). They actually broadcast the music over a station (very very shortwave) and had a sign posted advising people which station to listen to to get the effect. It just means the neighbors instead got to watch the crazy lights without knowing why 😛

The one in Mason btw: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rmgf60CI_ks
