  1. Hussah!  I knew from watching Avenue Q that puppet sex is funny.  Congrats, everyone!

  2. Jen C says:

I just want to thank everyone who voted for me, and to lavish praise onto my fellow writers here since I didn’t vote for anyone’s story on Saturday.  What a fun contest!

  3. Hey, this is the first thing I’ve ever gotten in exchange for writing.  I think I’ll probably keep my day job, but it was lot’s of fun…and fun to see what other people came up with.

  4. Leslie says:

    Hey, that was fun!

I don’t know if I’d call it fanfic, though.  I was thinking:  creative reappropriation of beloved cultural icons.

  5. Rock on!  I didn’t get online in time to vote (was at an all-day Autism seminar during voting time, dammit) but I sent up fervent hopes that Bert and Ernie would win.  And they did!  Whoo!

Of course, I’m not the least bit biased toward the first gay couple on TV.  Nope.  Not even though I watch them every day with the special needs child I work with.  He loves the song Ernie sings about how his life just isn’t the same when Bert’s not in the bedroom with him… he SAYS Bert’s off at a pigeon-fancier’s conference, but we all know he was at those bath houses Teddy Pig mentioned…

  6. Leslie says:

    heheheh … pigeon-fancier.
