Happy Wednesday!
My brother and sister-in-law are visiting for the next few days and I’m so excited to see them. (Even if my brother, who is in his 30s, is very much learning into little brother energy right now.) I think anyone who is an older sister with a younger brother gets what I mean.
I also had a lovely little girls staycation over the weekend.
That being said, I’m already dreading my inbox and I’ve been on vacation for a day.

Author Piper J. Drake passed away on May 18th. Her Facebook page posted a lovely tribute.

I stumbled across the Girl Dinner Diaries subreddit, where women take photos of their meals and vent, share their celebrations, or ask for advice. There are some serious topics discussed, but I really am warmed by the sense of community.

Thanks for posting about Piper J Drake. Her podcast with Gail Carriger, 20 Minute Delay, was a light take on travel problems, but they did mention her health the last few episodes.
In 2018, historical romance author Vicky Dreiling announced she had Early Onset Alzheimer’s. Hadn’t heard from her in years, then she came up in a Facebook memory, so I checked her personal page. I noticed her brother commented she had passed away on this past New Year’s Eve on a post where someone had inquired about her.
