The Foxglove King by Hannah Whitten is $2.99! I mentioned this one in a previous Hide Your Wallet. I did start reading it, but wound up putting it down pretty early. However, I think my short attention span lately is more of a me problem than a book problem

My guess is that this will be a very enjoyable book for the right reader at the right time. Expect surprises in the romance department and a massive cliffhanger. Expect that Lore will make a number of stupendously, ridiculously inane and illogical decisions. Expect an immersive environment including food and clothes, castles, taverns, woods, and ocean. Just don’t expect an actual ending.

I think it should be noted that A River Enchanted is the first half of a duology and ends on a cliffhanger, I believe.
I remember liking the world okay but finding the main couple extremely meh and not really caring if they ended up together. I liked the book enough to finish it but not enough to ever check out the sequel.
