Elyse featured this book in November’s Hide Your Wallet saying it “sounded delightfully spooky.” It has a 3.86 -star average on GoodReads, and I noticed that when I was using Google to look up this book, one of the autocomplete suggestions was “Haunting of Brynn Wilder ending explained,” which cracked me up. Have you read this? Did you need an explainer for the ending?

Readers on GoodReads mention that it’s not only a second chance story (per the title) but there’s also some friends-to-lovers trope action, too. Have you read this book?

This is book one in the Holly Grove Island series and has a 3.8-star average. Ryan was a guest on podcast Episode 434. Second Chance Summer by Jill Shalvis is $1.99! Everyone gets second chances today, because it’s never too late for a do-over. This is the first book in the Cedar Ridge trilogy, and has a 3.9-star average. I know that many romance fans (myself included) have a Shalvis book that’s an “emergency comfort re-read” because they’re funny and poignant and very absorbing. Is this one of yours?

I think second chances might be preferable to resolutions (that don’t make it past January anyway).
