Hey all! It’s Wednesday! Can you believe it?!
I’m ready for the week to be over, truly. Anyone else feel the same?
I saw Nope with a friend of mine last week. I still think Get Out is my favorite Peele horror film, but this was pretty close to beating it. My partner said the first half was definitely a horror movie, while the second half felt more action/adventure. I’d definitely agree with that assessment. Did anyone else go out and see it?!
I also saw that Rian Johnson’s new caper The Glass Onion has a release date of December 23rd and I’m so excited!

Author Olivia Dade has a really cool preorder campaign for Shipwrecked. I can’t wait to see the full cover. I’m tempted to participate!

This was sent to us by Penny. Thanks, Penny!
Penny: I noticed a yarn company, Wildstar Fibers, has created a line of romance themed covers.
It looks like the collection is sold out or was only up for a period of time. However, fingers cross there’s another Romance-themed collection in the future!

Here’s another reader submitted link! Kareni sent this to me and what a wild damn story. Did you see this going around on Twitter?

Sometimes, YouTube takes me to strange places., like Edwardian era ASMR roleplay.

Don’t forget to share what cool or interesting things you’ve seen, read, or listened to this week! And if you have anything you think we’d like to post on a future Wednesday Links, send it my way!
Oh that Twitter thread! What a lovely story.
I thoroughly enjoyed the Twitter thread, so believably told. I’ll take Serendipity for $1000, Alex.
This made me laugh today. I really hope I’ve formatted the link correctly!

If I may do a bit of shameless self-promotion, I wrote a blogpost for the Folger Shakespeare Library last week about the Shakespearean genre tropes in Our Flag Means Death. It’s romance adjacent, I swear! Both love AND Shakespearean romance!

I have watched ASMR videos like “you go to the apothecary in 1922 and the witch in charge is rude to you,” so I really enjoyed that.
I also enjoyed the Olivia Dade news and just put in my order!
Loved that twitter story!l that Kareni shared!
@Melissandre, You had me at OFMD 🙂
