Beach Read by Emily Henry.
The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood
I’ve recently been recommending The Switch. Although it might be more Chick Lit than Romance?
I have recommended Check, Please! Book 1: # Hockey by
Ngozi Ukazu a lot this past year. It’s a YA graphic novel with some LGBTQ romance, and it is fantastic.
I’ve been tossing Ilona Andrews’ Fated Blades out like confetti, to anyone who looks like a reader.
T. Kingfisher! And Lois McMaster Bujold’s Penric and Desdemona series
boyfriend material. It was the gay Bridget Jones I never knew I needed.
Like some others, I’ve been recommending the Paladin books by T. Kingfisher
Bear Meets Girl and basically every book by Shelly Laurenston!
My family scorns my reading choices, romances in particular (actually they ridicule the whole genre) so I don’t bother recommending any books to them. I have recommended both the Outlander series and the In Death series to a few people. Mostly I just keep quiet, it’s easier that way.
I always recommend Smooth Talking Stranger!!
Recently it’s been Kit Rocha’s Mercenary Librarians for the contemporary/future crowd or Sarah MacLean for historicals
I don’t read romances.
Depending on the mood I recommend Teach Me by Olivia Dade or Honor Among Orcs by Amalia Dillin. Both are just so, so good.
The first romance that comes to my mind is Ali Hazelwood’s The Love Hypothesis–which is saying something, cuz I’m just coming off a string of novels that I really enjoyed. That one’s the best of them though. However, just today I recommended Leonie Mack’s My Christmas Number One to a friend who enjoys holiday romances.
Cat Sebastian’s Queer Principles of Kitt Webb!
Courtney Milan is my most recommended romance offer. Always smart.
I am currently recommending the Stage Dive series by Kyle Scott. I really enjoyed it. It was fun and I didn’t find too many inaccuracies at all.
Usually Morning Glory by LaVyrle Spencer.
Courtney Milan and Tessa Dare
Neon Gods by Katee Robert an d pretty much any spccer based romance I can find (that is not a coed and her coach),
I’ve been recommending Tessa Dare’s Girl Meets Duke series.
Melonie Johnson’s Too Good to Be Real: A Novel
Lately, I have been recommending Olivia Dade.
I’ve recommended Jay Northcote a few times this year. His stories are sweet and well written with relatable characters.
The last two books I’ve recommended are my top favorites: Lucy Parker’s Act Like It and Tessa Dare’s A Week to be Wicked.
Sherry Thomas and Courtney Milan!
The Burning Cove series by Amanda Quick
Talia Hibbert’s Brown sisters series!
Am I have been blanket recommending Shelly Laurenston. She is such a joy to read.
I recommend Elizabeth Essex’s Reckless Brides series.
Anything by Lucy Parker, especially Battle Royal
Boyfriend Material by Alexis Hall
Red, White and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston
For historicals, Courtney Milan, Tessa Dare or Loretta Chase.
Erin Nicholas’s contemporaries (Head Over Hooves is her most recent), Jeannie Lin for historicals.
I have been recommending “The Love Study” by Kris Ripper left and right fo rthe lack of angst and general feeling of being wrapped in a warm blanket, which many of my friends needed with the sh*t going on in the world.
I can’t remember if I answered the one?
The Murderbot series by Martha Wells. Not a romance, but reviewed on SBT , so I say it counts!
