The Wisteria Society of Lady Scoundrels. It’s bonkers!
Nalini Singh’s series
So many, I’ll just go with the latest one – Take a Hint, Dani Brown. You all kept recommending Talia Hibbert, I bounced off a few of her older books, this one finally connected and it was so good. Started off funny, light and sexy, the emotional stuff built up slowly and the payoff was so cathartic.
The Widow of Rose Hill by Diana Biller is the most memorable because it’s not something I would normally read. It was fantastic!
SO MANY books and authors! I’ll got with Penny Reid and her Knitting in the City series – which led to The Winston Brothers series and Smartypants Romance’s spin-off series.
Happy Hanukkah!
The Murderbot series by Martha Wells. A thousand blessings upon you for recommending this series!!!
Oh my goodness, just one book? That’s impossible!
There’s so many – Jennifer Crusie, Lucy Parker, Sherry Thomas – just some recent ones.
Thank you!
Hi, I fell in love with the Shelly Laurenston/G.A. Aiken books. Kick ass dragons, badger that made me laugh out loud and fun got me through 7 months of having the kidlet at home and trying to work full time. The podcast also helped so thanks for that.
The Flatshare by Beth O’Leary and The Hating Game by Sally Thorne
so many! let’s go with T. Kingfisher and Paladin’s Grace
Murderbot. ♥️ And I’m hooked on the podcasts.
That’s too difficult to know! I think most of the books I read come from this blog! I think that you ladies were the first to put me on Lisa kleypas and Eloísa James way back when, oh and my guilty pleasure Bec McMaster? Along with 70% of the books in my creaking shelf of an e book library. Don’t know what I’d do without y’all!
I’ve found so many authors, especially with your Books on Sale articles. Sonali Dev, Helen Hoang, Lucy Parker, etc.
This year, I really enjoyed Mary Jo Putney’s Lost Lord series.
BTW, great taste in purses…such a beautiful color & I have to have a zip top close between being a klutz and the occasional hard brake when driving.
So many! This year, my fave has been The Roommate.
oh, I don’t think I can narrow it to one. Likely Lucy Parker’s London series and I’ve got Murderbot on my kindle so I can dive into it later over the holiday (and be uniterupted)
I don’t know if I could name just one! I will say that before I actually purchase a new book (print or ebook), I’ll do a little search of SBTB to see what the smart ladies here thought of it!
A few weeks ago you reviewed Jennifer Cruise, Bet Me is one of my all time favorite books! I have not read her books in a while and your review reminded me of her. I went back and reread several of her books.
My TBR pile grows way too much from reading SBTB! Most recent one I read and loved: The Firebird by Suzanna Kearsley.
There are so many I can’t even count. The most recent recommendation I loved was A Marvelous Light. As always, thanks for all you do -SBTB is always a highlight of my day. Happy holidays all!
All the Murderbots!!!
Gosh, that tote color is gorgeous!
I’ve discovered lots and lots of books here, but one of my favorite series is the Kat Holloway mysteries by Jennifer Ashley.
I’ve really enjoyed Written in Red by Anne Bishop. I would have passed it by, based on the description/blurb. But, I love it ( and all the other books in the series). Thanks SBTB !
This year I discovered the author Roan Parrish through your newsletter and have read through all her books since. Thanks for representing all authors for inclusive representative
I’ve read several of the graphic novels. I had never read them before but I couldn’t resist “My Boyfriend is a Bear” by Pamela Ribon and Cat Farris. And I have read multiple other that have come up since.
It Happened One Summer by Tessa Bailey. And now I have read all her books. Just awesome.
Where to even start? I guess most recently, SBTB introduced me to The Guinevere Deception, which I read and then ended up going on a fantasy with romance spiral, which is NOT something I usually read but I quite enjoyed!
The Craft of Love
Anne Bishop books, they are all fabulous!
Very hard to choose amongst the many, many books I’ve discovered through the site! But if forced to chose I’ll go with Joanna Bourne’s book – I like a dash of history with my romance
I also really appreciate the community. I read HABO out faithfully even tho I’ve not been able to offer any suggestions
Finally Cover Snark often makes me laugh out loud!
This year, I probably would have completely missed Winter’s Orbit if not for the review and the many, many shout outs in WAYR posts. And it would have been such a shame to miss!
Honestly it’s more a question of what book DIDN’T I find here? For simplicities sake I’ll just say The Roommate and the recent sequel I’m spacing in the name but actually likes more than the first!
I discovered Call on Me by Roni Loren and then inhaled the rest of that series.
Wow, tough question. I’ve gotten so many books from SBTB. I adored The Ex-Files and The One to Watch (my kindle is getting a little crowded and I’m forcing myself to go back and read earlier purchases – this is a good problem to have). Thanks for your site! BTW, I love your Cover Snark feature.
There’ve been so many over the years, but I have to mention to Strange Love by Ann Aguirre and The Lord of Stariel by AJ Lancaster. Loved them both and never would have looked at them if they hadn’t been mentioned here
The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang.
And All In by Simona Ahrnstedt.
Alyssa Cole’s Reluctant Royals (and so many others)!
Devil in Disguise by Lisa Kleypas. Thank you for the giveaway. Happy Holidays!
Murderbot! And Martha Wells other books, of which I think I love The Fall of Ile-Rien Trilogy even more.
Also the Scholomance books by Naomi Novik, which I adore!
The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang, among the many fantastic books I’ve found through SBTB! Yay for neurodivergent main characters.
I have discovered so many awesome books and authors through this site, but I think I have to go with An Extraordinary Union by Alyssa Cole. That was the first romance I read that really showed me how skillful romance writers can really be. And it really inspired a love of romances where there is a lot of character development as well as hawt sexytimes (although I love me some fluffy PWP too).
