Happy Second Night of Hanukkah!
Yup, still feels early, but always looks beautiful and, if you’re eating sufganiyot, tastes delicious, too!
Ready for today’s celebratory giveaway? Hope so!
Today’s prize is: a Kate Spade Star zipper pouch, and a gift set from OSEA!

Want some specs?
- The bag measures approximately 10″w by 7.5″ tall
- It has a zip closure across the top
- It is perfect for essentials you don’t want to lose in the bottom of your bag!
But wait, there’s more! You’ll receive a bottle of OSEA Undaria Algae body oil, and a bottle of OSEA Ocean Cleanser.

I was sent a set both earlier in the year, and I really like the body oil and the cleanser. They’re light but moisturizing and my skin didn’t freak out. So I wanted to share the loveliness with you! The body oil is perfect for this time of year when skin can be dry and itchy!
Want to enter? Yay!

deleted the outlook app from my phone, no more work email at all and any hour!
Self care this year was a lot of reading HEAs, and working on food/sleep to lower my BMI and blood sugar (I’m down 15 pounds and 10 points since May 🙂 )
I went hiking. Almost every week. An hour in the woods does wonders.
I joined a CSA and indulged my need for creativity by cooking delicious vegetables.
I started running again and watched lots of kdramas for self-care and stress relief
I’m taking time to enjoy little (or big) things in life. I’m also spending more time on makeup and clothes to make myself happy. And reading as always!
I bought mew hardcover books. It was awesome.
Happy Second Night of Hanukkah!
To care for myself, I read many books (and ate ak whole lot of chocolate!)
I did a better job of defining/stating boundaries (still a eork in progress, but I’m less reluctant to admit exhaustion now)…
I started to meditate more consistently.
I got frequent pedicures.
I adopted two guinea pigs from a rescue. Having them makes me slow down a bit of an evening and just spend some time with them. 🙂 I am so often on the go and don’t take enough time to just relax, and there is no better relaxation than having a warm guinea pig in my arms.
Embraced my sleep schedule. I get up late and go to bed late. I like it and no longer apologize for it.
I lost 60 lbs.
Taking time to take bubble baths and spending 10-20 mins a day just resting and listening to music to alleviate the stress
Started saying “no” and recognizing that I can’t do everything at work. Learning to delegate is hard but worth it.
Took many naps, let myself be a “bad” employee and ate green things when I could even if it was a handful of baby spinach straight out of the bag
I have re-read several series. To me, it is like visiting old friends. I haven’t been able to watch anything to escape except on TCM, even if the film is just new to me.
I bought fun socks
I spent more time and energy on my hobbies and interests, and less energy worrying about my job and working unpaid hours during the weekends and evening (I’m a teacher).
I pushed myself to not push myself, if that makes any sense. If a book couldn’t hold me, I quit. I watched funny things. I walked outside. When my cat wanted me to take a break from work, I did (maybe not the best habit but I enjoyed it). Just a lot of little things.
Retired.
I got a puppy!
I took little trips to see both my best friend and my sister this year.
