I love the cover of THE REBEL HEIR! Harlequin’s Desire line has some of the loveliest, best-designed covers in romance: attractive cover models, gorgeous gowns & tuxes, statement jewelry, soothing color palettes. And, because the Desire line tends to feature the most ethnically-diverse MCs in the Harlequin universe, the cover models are often POC.
I just read a new graphic novel that I think SO MANY people here will love, Shaenon K. Garrity and Christopher Baldwin’s The Dire Days of Willowweep Manor. It is SUCH a perfect, laugh-out-loud sendup of gothic romance novels, with a young woman from our world who accidentally lands in a pocket universe that was formed during the Romantic Era and is therefore full of ALL the literary archetypes (done hilariously and adorably well). Luckily, she’s a longtime Gothic romance reader and knows exactly how to become a heroine and bend all the rules! I laughed SO MANY times as I read it.

I impulsively 1-clicked the May Peterson series – not just the book here – because a review said it was a strong standalone but even better as an ending to a trilogy. Fingers crossed that I made a good decision!
