This was a great podcast episode (and I will be bummed if Amanda doesn’t get the whole collection!)
I loved that podcast! For me, it epitomized everything Smart Bitches stands for: there was some snark and hilarity, but there was also a considered and thoughtful analysis of the book. The discussion revealed kindness and a true affection for the book—despite so much crazy-sauce—and the world Lovett has created. A classic episode! (For the record, I also like the Planet of Desire books—although they have their whack-a-doodle moments…and by “moments,” I mean 95% of the books. However, if you’re in the mood for that kind of story, the books really hit the spot.)
I haven’t had time to listen yet, but I LOVE that title!
