Happy Fifth Night of Hanukkah! I’m really excited about today’s giveaway prize. I use mine all the time.
Today’s prize is: Sudio Fem bluetooth earbuds!
I have a pair of them and use them constantly. I use them for yoga which I do with an app on my phone, and when I’m sewing and want to listen to music or podcasts. The case charges them, so in between uses they are topped up, and there’s a light indicator on the front to tell you when to charge up the case.
My favorite thing is that once they were paired with my phone, when I take them out of the case, they activate and re-connect to my phone automatically. Since I usually work out first thing in the morning, and am often in my pjs, not having to fiddle with buttons is wonderful.
Want some specs?
- 20 hours total playtime on a full charge
- Ambient noise reduction with microphones on each earbud
- You can use one or both
- Comes with four sizes of earbud to get a good fit
- Bluetooth range of 10m

In this dumpster fire of a year, I’ve been so grateful for fun podcasts, particularly Office Ladies.
I’ve been listening to lots of audiobooks this year. I’ve actually cut back on my podcasts, in part because I’m driving a lot less, but I’ve blown my Goodreads goal out of the water. My pandemic brain can’t handle anything high stakes, so I’ve gotten into cozy mysteries over my usual favs scifi & fantasy (except for my very favorite authors).
Audiobooks and musical theater for me.
Happy Hannukah!
I started listening to audiobooks.
Mainly audiobooks and podcasts, mostly about politics. I look forward to moving on to other subjects, though. Thank you so much for the amazing giveaway!
I’ve been obsessed with Critical Role character playlists.
Fake Doctors Real Friends podcast with Zach Braff and Donald Faison. Definitely worth a listen if you watched and loved Scrubs.
All the podcasts! I also started getting into audiobooks this year, so I can read when my hands are busy. These sound great!
@susan I love Fontaines DC! Their first album especially. Super bummed that I didn’t get to travel to see them this fall in Europe.
This year I listened to the entire Redhanded podcast back catalogue while peeling wallpaper and painting, most of Behind the Bastards and comfort listened to a lot of Julie James audiobooks when the world was too much.
I would love to have those to listen to podcasts while doing dishes.
I’m currently obsessed with Megan Thee Stallion.
satellite radio
I listened to a lot of Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald. Also George Michael. No rhyme or reason to my tastes because when I was hanging out with my mom, we listened to rancheras and boleros.
All the music from the Kdrama Hospital Playlist!
Because I haven’t listened to as many podcasts this year as before (because for some reason I prefer to listen to them in the car, and since I’m not driving as much…), it’s mostly been public radio for me.
I started listening to some podcasts about romance books this year, including Fated Mates, Shelf Love, and Whoa!mance. I love them all!
Heaving Bussoms podcast saved my sanity! Also got really into Ice planet podcast and learning the tropes.
I listen to audiobooks on my commute to work. Favorites are the Rockliffe series by Stella Riley, In Death series by J. D. Robb and The Others series by Anne Bishop. They make traffic jams better.
Girl in Space will be coming back soon with Season 2!!
@Arijo – How are you accessing these wonderful shows? (I’m supremely techno-ignorant).
I rediscovered my old Pandora station! I listen while I cook dinner and it reminds me of my grad school days, a lifetime ago (at least for the three teens who have since hatched in my household)!
I love listening to Malcolm Gladwell’s podcasts Revisionist History
I’m normally not a big fan of audiobooks because I am very picky about narrators, but I really loved Boyfriend Material by Alexis Hall. The narration is spot on!
